About Treasure Valley Artisans
A Place for Local Art, Creative Community, and Connection
At Treasure Valley Artisans, we believe handmade art brings people together. Our mission is to connect Idaho-based artists and small businesses with a community that values creativity, craftsmanship, and the people behind the products. What began as a vision for vibrant, high-quality artisan markets has grown into a brick-and-mortar storefront in the heart of Downtown Caldwell. Today, Treasure Valley Artisans is home to more than 40 Idaho-based artists and small businesses, each bringing their own creativity, perspective, and passion to our collective. But we're more than a shop. We're building a place where people can discover something unique, meet local makers, explore their own creativity, and feel connected to their community.
Created by Artists, for Artists
After years of participating in artisan markets as the founder of Fire & Fringe, I saw firsthand both the opportunities and challenges that come with being an independent artist. I also recognized a need for spaces that genuinely prioritize the people who make these creative communities possible. Treasure Valley Artisans was created to help fill that gap. We believe artists deserve accessible opportunities to share their work, grow their businesses, and connect with customers who appreciate the time, skill, and care behind handmade goods. By bringing local makers together under one roof, we're creating more than a place to sell art. We're building a collaborative community where small businesses can grow and creativity can thrive.
More Than a Store: Our Third Place
We believe every community needs places beyond home and work where people can gather, feel welcome, and connect with others. These spaces are often called third places, and creating one for our community is at the heart of what we do. Whether you're stopping in to browse handmade treasures, chatting with a local artist, attending a creative workshop, or simply exploring Downtown Caldwell, we want you to feel like you belong here. Our hope is that Treasure Valley Artisans becomes a place where creativity sparks connection, neighbors become friends, and supporting local feels personal. Curious about the idea behind a third place? Read our blog post to learn more about what it means to us.
